December, 2012—Announced as recipient for an Artist Enrichment Grant through the Kentucky Foundation for Women. Bianca will produce a live exhibition and performance entitled "The Thirteen" which pays homage to thirteen Black women and girls lynched or executed in Kentucky throughout the late 19th-early 20th centuries. The exhibition and performance will take place at Transylvania University in 2013.
July, 2012—Announced as a recipient of the 2013 Al Smith Fellowship sponsored by the Kentucky Arts Council.
June, 2012—Announced as recipient for an Arts Meets Activism Grant through the Kentucky Foundation for Women. Bianca will continue to facilitate writing workshops for incarcerated women in Kentucky for "The SwallowTale Project" in partnership with the Kentucky Domestic Violence Association (KDVA).
